Kolkata: Two children have died and two others have been injured due to superstition in Malda district of West Bengal. A police officer said on Saturday that the incident took place in Kadamtali village under Gajole police station area on Friday night. District Superintendent of Police Alok Razoria said, "The deceased boys were aged between five and seven years, while two sisters aged three and six have been admitted to the Malda Medical College and Hospital for treatment in an injured condition."

He said that the investigation into the case has been started and the cause of death is being ascertained. "Children's families have told that the four boys were enchanted on both the girls. Back from the nearby forest on Friday evening After returning, all the children were unconscious. They told that the children had gone to play there. A police officer said that preliminary investigation suggested that the children ate some poisonous fruit from the forest. Ia was.
