The new crime case is reported from Basai Darapur village in the national capital. In this case, the husband got angry after seeing his wife with his neighbour and he did not think anything and killed the wife by beating her with sticks. After the murder of 50-year-old Rita Thapa in the case on the night of February 2, the accused absconded and when the 27-year-old son of Rita reached home on the morning of 3 February, he informed the police about the case.
According to the news received in this case, Moti Nagar police station has sent the dead body for postmortem. At the same time, in one hour, the police arrested 38-year-old accused Sumit Lamba from Tagore Garden and the accused was trying to escape to his home in Nepal.
In this case, Deputy Commissioner of Police Deepak Purohit says, "On February 3, at 11:30 pm, the police received information that a woman was lying in her house in an unconscious state." The son of the deceased called. When high officials arrived at the scene and started investigating, it was known that the woman had died.
The police has registered a case under murder on the son's statement and started the investigation. During the preliminary investigation conducted by him, it was found that the deceased's first husband had died earlier due to illness, since the death of the first husband, Basai was living life in the village of Darapur with the son of the deceased. The woman got married to Sumit in the year 2014 and when the son reached home on the morning of 3 February, he found his mother dead and informed the police about the case. Police arrested the accused in the case and inquiries are on.
