Mumbai: The tug of war is growing in the Uddhav Thackeray government of Maharashtra. CM Uddhav Thackeray has been directly screwed from the NCP amid the ongoing tussle between Congress and Shiv Sena involved in Mahavikas Aghadi. Uddhav Thackeray has handed over the investigation of the Bhima-Koregaon case to the NIA, which has angered NCP president Sharad Pawar. In such a situation, questions are now being raised whether the government of Mahavikas Aghadi will be able to complete 5 years.

Actually, CM Uddhav Thackeray has handed over the investigation of Bhima-Koregaon case to the National Investigation Agency (NIA). In doing so, he has overturned the decision of the Home Ministry of their government. The state's Home Minister is NCP leader Anil Deshmukh and has expressed deep displeasure over Uddhav's decision. Anil Deshmukh said on Thursday that CM Thackeray has overturned his decision in the Bhima Koregaon case. At the same time, Chief Secretary (Home) of the same state, Sanjay Kumar has claimed that the home department of the state is not averse to handing the Bhima Koregaon case to the NIA. Now NCP chief Sharad Pawar, who played a key role in making Mahavikas Aghadi in the state, has attacked Uddhav Thackeray on this whole matter.

Pawar has termed the decision to hand over the investigation of Bhima-Koregaon case to the NIA as 'unconstitutional'. Talking to press persons in Kolhapur, Sharad Pawar said that the Central Government did not correct the case by handing over the investigation from Pune Police to NIA, as law and order is a matter of the State Government. Sharad Pawar further said that, by handing over the investigation to the NIA, the Central Government did not correct and even more wrongly, the Thackeray Government supported it.
