Patna: A murder case has come to light from Khagaria in Bihar. Where in Pansalwa village under Beldore police station area, a wife stabbed her own husband to death with a sharp weapon. Before killing, the wife killed her husband by feeding him with intoxicating drugs. Then attacked and killed him brutally.

She also dug a pit in her house to burn the dead body of her husband but she could not locate the corpse. Police recovered the body and arrested the accused woman. Gogri DSP PK Jha said that the woman was the second wife of the deceased. During the interrogation, the accused woman Kanchan Devi confessed her crime. Police also suspect the woman of having an illicit relationship with someone. The gas used in the murder has also been recovered by the police.

It is being told that the deceased Giani Sharma had done four marriages. In which the first wife died during childbirth. The third wife had escaped, while he lived with two wives. Amidst all this, Chunchun Devi, the daughter of the first wife, is believed to have been killed by her stepmother Kanchan Devi because her father was often in conflict with the stepmother.
