Patna: 83 people have died tragically due to lightning in Bihar, while 24 people have died in Uttar Pradesh so far. On Thursday, rain in many districts of Bihar has become a problem for people. The outbreak of celestial lightning with heavy rain and wind took the lives of 83 people. Also, many people have been seriously injured due to lightning.
There is still torrential rain in many districts including North Bihar. The Meteorological Department had already issued warnings for torrential rain on Thursday and Friday. The Meteorological Department has issued heavy rain alert for 18 districts of Bihar till 26 June. The Bihar Disaster Department has made its preparations to deal with any disaster. At the same time, NDRF and SDRF have also been put on alert to deal with any situation.
PM Narendra Modi has expressed his condolences on this sad incident and tweeted, "The sad news of the death of many people came due to heavy rain and lightning in some districts of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. State Governments with immediate relief I am busy in the work. I express my condolences to the families of those who have lost their lives in this disaster. " Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi also expressed grief by tweeting on this incident. He tweeted, "I am shocked to hear the news of the death of 83 people due to lightning in Bihar. May God give strength to their loved ones to bear this grief. I appeal to the Congress workers to give all possible help to the suffering families."
