In this regard, IMD said, "The monsoon turf line is going from Bengal to Assam via Bihar from UP while another turf line is visible from North East Bihar to Orissa. Rain and thundershower alert has been sounded for all districts of the state in the next 48 hours.''
At the same time, it is being reported that the intensity of rain and thunderbolts will be high in some districts of north Bihar and southwest Bihar and an orange alert has been issued in 10 districts. The districts of Bihar which are currently on orange alert for heavy rain in the next 24 hours include the capital Patna, Nalanda, Rohtas, Nawada, Gaya, Jehanabad, and adjoining districts. Light or heavy rain may occur in these districts. Let me tell you that Bihar has already received rain in the northern part in the last 24 hours.
