Bhojpur: In Bihar, two people were hit by celestial lightning late last night in Bhojpur district. One died on the spot while one was badly injured. The injured are undergoing treatment at a nearby hospital. The accident took place in the village of West Englishpur, which falls under the Imadpur police station area of the district.
Gorakh Kumar, a 14-year-old son of Chandra Singh, a resident of west English Pur village in Imadpur police station area, and a young man from the village, were reported to have gone to the banks of the Sone river to grazing cattle. It was only then that the celestial lightning fell with a loud noise and the two youths were caught in the crossfire. Gorakh Kumar died on the spot in the incident.
The other youth has been stabbed in the leg and injured. One who has been admitted to the hospital for treatment. However, as soon as the case is reported, Imadpur police have taken the body to the spot and shifted it to Ara Sadar Hospital for post mortem. While he is undergoing treatment, the family members of the deceased are in a very bad condition.
