Patna: Criminals are in the capital Patna of Bihar. Criminals are committing crimes like murder and robbery everyday. The latest case is that of Fatuha in Patna, where criminals shot dead a retired bank worker in broad daylight on Saturday. According to reports, the man in the car was shot dead by criminals on NH-30 near Bhikhua Bend in Fatuha police station. At the same time, the car driver was also shot and seriously injured.

On receiving information about firing on the highway in broad daylight, Fatuha police reached the spot and sent the injured driver to PMCH for treatment. Meanwhile, the body was sent for postmortem. According to information received, the deceased Shailendra Kumar hailed from Bihar Sharif in Nalanda district of the state and was coming from Biharsharif to Bhagwat Nagar in Patna this morning. Meanwhile, two assailants on a bike overtook the car and shot the car driver and Shailendra Kumar, who was sitting in the back, killing the retired banker on the spot at Bhikhua Bend in Fatuha.

Rural SP Kantesh Kumar Mishra, who rushed to the spot after receiving information about the incident, said 'The criminals were chasing a retired banker from a long distance. According to him, the reasons for the murder are yet to be revealed. After the car driver comes to his senses, he will know what the whole matter is. The family members of the deceased have been informed. The culprits will be arrested soon'.
