IPL 2021: KKR suffers major setback, this playerwill not be able to play in rest of the matches

New Delhi: Australian pacer Pat Cummins has withdrawn from the remaining 31 matches of 2021 IPL starting in September in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Mentions that Cummins is in the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) squad in the 14th season of IPL. Cummins has told Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Dinesh Karthik that he will not be available for the second phase of IPL 2021.

Let's say KKR doesn't even seem sure to get the services of Eoin Morgan, who is the captain of the team this season. Former captain Dinesh Karthik said in an interview to the media, "Pat Cummins himself has said that he will not come to play. But Eoin Morgan can come. However, the tournament is still three months away from the start and could change a lot from now till September. I'm ready for it if I'm asked to captain".

However, there is no official statement from Cricket Australia so far on the remaining 31 matches of IPL 2021. But the England and Wales Cricket Board has already made it clear that its players will not leave international matches for IPL 2021.
