The highly anticipated ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024 is slated to kick off on June 2 in the USA and the Caribbean. With 20 teams vying for glory, matches will be spread across three venues in the United States and six in the Caribbean.
Following the adrenaline rush of the Indian Premier League, fans can look forward to cheering for the Men in Blue, led by Rohit Sharma, as they aim for victory. Of particular interest is the India-Pakistan clash on June 9, a fixture eagerly anticipated worldwide.
Additionally, matches such as Australia vs. England and West Indies vs. New Zealand promise thrilling encounters, sure to draw large audiences.
This initiative by Disney+ Hotstar not only ensures wider accessibility to cricket but also provides advertisers with a vast viewership base for enhanced reach. The T20 World Cup matches will be available for streaming on handheld devices via Disney+ Hotstar, while Star Sports remains the official TV broadcaster.
India's T20 World Cup Squad boasts Rohit Sharma as captain, with Rishabh Pant as wicketkeeper and Hardik Pandya as vice-captain. Noteworthy inclusions are all-rounders Ravindra Jadeja and Shivam Dube, alongside spinners Kuldeep Yadav, Axar Patel, and Yuzvendra Chahal, who returns after a hiatus.
