Patna: The cold is increasing in Bihar with the drop in temperature for the last few days. In view of the winter, the education department has ordered the closure of all government schools in the state from December 26 to December 31. On Friday, December 23, 2022, an order has been issued by the Bihar Education Department, which will be applicable to all government schools in the state. 

According to the order, all government schools in Bihar will remain closed from 26 to 31 December 2022 in view of the cold wave. At the same time, considering the weather conditions, the school closure period can be extended even further. Let us inform you that today (Saturday) in Bihar's capital Patna, the minimum temperature is expected to be 12 degree Celsius while the maximum temperature is expected to remain up to 26 degrees Celsius. At the same time, the condition of fog and cold waves may persist in the next 2 days.

Schools in Bihar will remain closed for 121 days in 2023:-

Recently the Bihar government has also released the list of school holidays in the year 2023. According to the Bihar School Holiday Calendar 2023, schools will remain closed for 121 days in 365 days next year. It also includes festival holidays, summer holidays, and winter holidays.
