The former chief's son shot his own stepmother. He has been admitted to the hospital in a critical condition. Actually, this is the case of Saraipur in Vaishali, in the panchayat elections here, the chief's seat has been declared reserved for the woman. In the upcoming election, a quarrel started at home about who would be the candidate of the two wives of the former chief Surendra Rai. The stepson opened fire on his mother over the chief's candidacy.
The accused was insistent on making his mother the candidate of the chief, while the former chief wanted to make his second wife a candidate. It was in this enmity that the son of the former chief shot his stepmother. After the incident, the injured woman was hurriedly brought to the hospital for treatment, where the police have registered a statement and are engaged in action against the accused. SDPO Raghav Dayal of Sadar Hajipur told that there was a dispute about becoming the candidate for the post of Chief. In this, the step-son has opened fire on his mother. The accused wanted to make his mother a candidate while the householders were not ready. Shot in this controversy.
