Patna: In the accusations of conversion in Bihar's Vaishali district, villagers beat up 3 people including 1 woman. After beating, the villagers got a meeting with the three and spit. Some people present on the spot made a video of the beating of the three and went viral on social media. The case is being reported from Digdhi village in Hajipur.

According to media reports, villagers have reported that on Friday, a woman and two men were roaming in Digghi village. He spoke to some people. The villagers felt that they had come to the village to propagate a particular religion. After this, the people gathered the whole village and took the three as hostages. When the villagers searched the bag of the three, some books and poster-banner were found in it. Villagers told that the three have accepted that, for conversion, an organization gives them four hundred rupees per day.

The trio told the villagers during interrogation that they were residents of Saran district. The villagers left the three after beating and holding sit-ups. Along with this, the three were also advised not to come to the village again. No FIR has been lodged in this case by either party. Police say the case is being investigated based on the video.
