Patna: In Bihar, thunderstorm squalls are likely to occur on Friday and Saturday as the moisture flows along with the east wind increases. The heat had increased across the state due to the continuous temperature being above normal but the next two days will bring a lot of relief from the heat. The northeastern part of the state will witness a special impact of a thunderstorm while the rest of the state will also witness thundershowers.
There may also be severe thunderstorm conditions at some places. According to meteorologists, Wednesday was the hottest summer of the season across the state when mercury crossed 40 degrees in most districts. But the situation has changed rapidly in the last 24 hours. Thunderstorm clouds have been formed by the combination of hot winds and humid Purva. Though Patna was sunny on Thursday and the earth kept hot in the afternoon, the sky witnessed partial clouds as evening fell. The impact of hot winds has also decreased.
The maximum temperature has dropped sharply in all districts including Patna, Bhagalpur, Gaya, and Purnia in the last 24 hours. Patna has declined by two degrees, Gaya by one degree, Bhagalpur by three degrees, while Purnia by three degrees. Cold winds have increased in many areas and brought a lot of relief to the people. Weathermen say the situation will remain the same for the next two days. There is no possibility of an increase in temperature. There will be cloudy conditions in the state including Patna. The impact of stormwater will increase.
