New Delhi: Former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Ajit Jogi has received a major setback from the Bilaspur High Court. The High Court has rejected the petition of Ajit Jogi, in which he had sought the cancellation of the FIR lodged against him in the caste case. After hearing in this case, the High Court has given a decision on Tuesday. The court has dismissed Ajit Jogi's petition.

The High Power Committee, formed on the caste of former CM Ajit Jogi, gave its report in court on 23 August 2019. In this, the committee refused to consider Ajit Jogi as a tribal.
