The actress Bindu, who injured many people with her dance in Bollywood is celebrating her birthday today. She is celebrating her 70 birthday today. Even today people know her by the name of Mona Darling. After playing this role, everybody started recognising her. She was born on 17th January 1941 in Gujarat.

At a very young age, Bindu lost her father. After that, she had the responsibility of her family, after which she took entry into Hindi cinema. She had come to become an actress but became an item queen. After that, she played a negative role and become a female villain. In such films, she surprised everyone, but many times she had to face hatred. She worked in many films like 'Zanjeer', 'Aaya Sawan Jhoom Ke', 'Amar Prem', 'Raja Rani', 'Mere Jeevan Sathi', 'Ghat Ho To Aisa', 'Biwi Ho To Aisi'. Many people also know Bindu by the name of Shabnam.

She worked in Rajesh Khanna's film Kati Patang in which her name was Shabnam. In this film, she had a dialogue 'Mein Naam Hai Shabnam Log Pyar Se Bulate Hai Shabbo'. With this film she got fame. The last film of Bindu was released in Mehbooba (2008) and she lives in Pune with her husband Chandaklal these days.
