There is a plan to prepare an Air Defense Command soon to secure the airspace in India. A day earlier, General Bipin Rawat, who took over the post of Chief of Defense Staff (CDS), in his first decision, has instructed to prepare the blueprint of Air Defense Command by 30 June. General Rawat took over the reins as the country's first CDS on Wednesday.
After taking over, the CDS held a meeting with the officers of the Integrated Defense Staff and asked the heads of several cells to make recommendations for increasing coordination and coordination between the three armies in a timely manner. An official said, "CDS has directed that the proposal to create Air Defense Command should be prepared by June 30." He also set priorities for implementing various initiatives by 31 December for mutual cooperation between the three armies.
Due to the information received from the officer regarding this matter, some areas have been marked for coordination and coordination between the three forces. A common 'logistical support pool' will be established in such areas where there is presence of two or more army members. According to officials, General Rawat also talked about reducing the unusable ritual activities. They believe that such activities lead to labor. General Rawat will be the Principal Military Advisor to the Defense Minister as CDS. He will oversee the functioning of the newly formed Department of Military Affairs.
