Mumbai: The risk of bird flu has increased these days. In view of this, it is becoming a major threat. The threat has also been confirmed in Delhi after Maharashtra. In fact, 900 chickens have died of bird flu in Murbad village of Parbhani district of Maharashtra, and bird flu has been confirmed in 8 birds in Delhi also. Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has convened an emergency meeting today (Monday) at 5 pm to discuss the bird flu situation in Maharashtra.

According to information received, an emergency meeting is going to be held at 5 pm this evening. You may know that bird flu started from Kerala and so far 9 states have been reeling under the grip of this flu. However, bird flu has reached Gujarat, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Delhi, and Uttar Pradesh besides Kerala. In fact, in these states, birds other than a large number of crows have also embraced death. Now, in view of the danger, the animal and bird departments of other states are also getting alerts.

After the death of 900 chickens in Parbhani district of Maharashtra, samples were sent to Bhopal Lab for investigation, from where bird flu has been confirmed in the report. According to reports, the Delhi government has also taken stringent steps in view of the threat of bird flu. In fact, Ghazipur Rooster Mandi in East Delhi has been completely closed for 10 days, and further, the government has also banned the import of live birds.
