New Delhi: The apex court has slammed the central government over the farmers' agitation. The farmer leader is pleased with the top court's tough remarks, though he does not agree with the court's decision to form the committee. Talking to a private news channel, farmer leader Satnam Singh Pannu, who is performing on the Singhu Border, said that we will comment after the court verdict, but we do not agree with the decision to form a committee.

Farmer leader Satnam Singh Pannu said if the apex court makes a firm decision on the suspension of new agricultural laws, we will then consider ending or suspending the agitation. Our movement is peaceful and will remain peaceful, he added. The government must democratically make our voices heard. During a hearing in the Supreme Court, Chief Justice (CJI) SA Border said that we are not trying to end the agitation, you can continue it. We want to know if the law stops, will you change the place of agitation until the report comes? If anything goes wrong, we will all be responsible for that.

CJI SA Border said that if farmers are protesting, we want the committee to address that. We don't want to take anyone's blood on our hands. But we can't convince anyone to perform. We cannot take these criticisms to our heads that we are in support of one side and against the other.
