When the pipeline was cleaned to clear the contaminated water that had been coming for several days at Chowk Bazaar Kankhal in Haridwar, pigeon wings and bones came out. Seeing this, the people of the locality got angry. After the pipeline has been cleaned, the water has come clean, but people are still unable to muster the courage to drink water. At this time everyone is in panic over the corona. Despite this, the administrative staff does not appear to be more serious about the health of the people.

For your information, let us tell you that such a case was seen in Kankhal. Luv Kumar Gupta, who lives near Chowk Bazar Kankhal, said that the overhead tank located at Gyan Lok Colony around his house supplied drinking water. For several days, hundreds of families had been drinking contaminated water. The department did not take any action despite repeated complaints. After this, the water from the taps was greatly reduced. When water stopped running on Monday, people were forced to open a pipeline by calling a private palambar.

Along with this, people were stunned by the condition of the pipeline. Pigeon feathers and bones were stuck in the pipeline. He says that water has started coming in after the line is cleared, but people are afraid of what animals may get trapped in the overhead tank. Area residents Sanjay Gupta, Sanjay Atri, Ajay Gupta etc. raised the demand for regular cleaning of overhead tanks and water lines.
