Birsa Dasgupta’s next thriller has already created a buzz among cine lovers ever since the cast was announced. The film was previously titled ‘Psycho’ but now it has been changed into ‘Mukhosh’. And, what’s more interesting is that we now know the release date. The gripping thriller is set to hit the theatres on August 13. The film featuring Anirban Bhattacharya, Anirban Chakraborti, Chandreyee Ghosh and Payel Dey is a psychological thriller. Birsa is super excited to share the news of his film’s release since everybody is waiting for Anirban Bhattacharya’s next performance after Debaloy Bhattacharya’s ‘Dracula Sir’.

"More than being an edge-of-the-seat thriller, I would say it is a slow burn. It will have no music but there will be a background score, which I intend to keep natural. The actors will have a lot of scope for expressing themselves. At times, there are dialogues and at times scenes requiring silence. The genres are drama and suspense," shares Birsa while speaking about the film’s subject.

Chandreyee who plays one of the leads in the thriller is happy to reunite with Birsa for the second time. “I can’t reveal the story as it is a thriller. All I can say, death is the central theme of this film and it tries to delve into the mindset of a murderer. I play Kaberi Bose, an IAS officer. She is on a mission to find out the murderer. She is extremely authoritative in nature, intelligent and talks less. So, most of my actions will be through body language. Birsa said I will not have to do any makeup to play this character. I will be natural, both in terms of acting and looks,” revealed the actress.
