Maharana Pratap Singh's birthday is celebrated on May 9th every year. Maharana Pratap Singh was the 13th king of the Mewar dynasty, who ruled from 1572 until his death in 1597. He is known for his valiant efforts in fighting against the Mughal emperor Akbar and defending the independence of his kingdom. Maharana Pratap Singh is considered a legendary figure in Indian history and is celebrated for his bravery, patriotism, and determination.

Maharana Pratap Singh (1540-1597) was a Rajput king of Mewar, a region in present-day Rajasthan, India. He is known for his valiant efforts in resisting the Mughal emperor Akbar's attempts to annex Mewar and his steadfast commitment to defending his kingdom's independence.

Maharana Pratap was born to Maharana Udai Singh II and Maharani Jaiwanta Bai. He ascended to the throne in 1572 after the death of his father. His reign was marked by a series of battles with the Mughals, who were expanding their empire in India at the time.

In 1576, Maharana Pratap fought the Battle of Haldighati against the Mughal forces led by Raja Man Singh I. Although he lost the battle, he managed to escape with his life and continued to resist the Mughals from his mountain fortress at Chittorgarh.

Maharana Pratap's struggle against the Mughals continued for many years, and he was eventually able to regain much of his lost territory. He died in 1597 at the age of 57, leaving behind a legacy of bravery and a symbol of Rajput resistance against foreign invasions. Today, he is revered as a national hero in India, and his legacy is celebrated in popular culture through books, songs, and films.

Maharana Pratap is considered to be the most powerful warrior of India. His used to carry an 80 kg spear and two swords, which weighed about 208 kg. The weight of his armor itself was 72 kg. It is said that with a single blow of his sword, the enemy's horse along with the enemy used to get cut into two pieces.
