At the age of 22, he hanged himself for the freedom of our country and sacrificed his life for the honor of Mother India. Today is the birth anniversary of Amar shaheed Shivram Hari Rajguru (Shivaram-Rajguru). From an early age, Rajguru had a strong desire to join Jung-e-Azadi. Similarly, while studying in Varanasi, Rajguru got in touch with many revolutionaries. But he was so impressed by Chandrasekhar Azad that his party joined the Hindustan Socialist Republican Army immediately, at which time he was only 16 years old.

The main objective of Rajguru and his associates in this team was to instill fear in the minds of the British authorities. At the same time, they used to roam around to make people aware and inspire them to fight for freedom. On the one hand, contrary to Mahatma Gandhi's views, Rajguru revolutionarily wanted freedom on the strength of weapons, so his views never matched Mahatma Gandhi's views. He was known as Raghunath in Azad's party. Revolutionaries like Pandit Chandrashekhar Azad, Sardar Bhagat Singh, and Yatindranath Das were his beloved friends. Rajguru himself was also an accomplished shooter. On December 19, 1928, when Rajguru along with Bhagat Singh and Sukhdev killed British police officer JP Sanders. The incident was, in fact, revenge for the murder of Lala Lajpat Rai, who died during Lathicharge while opposing the Simon Commission.  Rajguru also played a key role in the bomb attack at the Central Assembly in Delhi on April 8, 1929.

After killing Sanders, Rajguru went to Nagpur and took shelter in the house of the RSS worker. He then met Dr. K.B. Hedgewar, with whom Rajguru prepared a major plan ahead. But sadly, before they went on their plan ahead, they were arrested by the police on their way to Pune. He was then hanged along with Bhagat Singh and Sukhdev on March 23, 1931. All three were cremated at Hussainwala on the banks of river Sutlej in Ferozepur district of Punjab. In this way, this man of freedom along with his friends graced a laughing sacrifice for Mother India.
