Bollywood without Villain is incomplete and the word 'Villain ' without Amrish Puri can never be fulfilled. Amrish Puri, who wants to be a hero in Bollywood, has become one of the villains who still has no one to face. It was on this day in 1932 that Amrish Puri was born and on January 12, 2005, he said goodbye to the world. Let us know some of the highlights of Amrish Puri today...

Amrish Puri studied his early studies in Punjab and then moved to Shimla. After studying at B.M. College in Shimla, he stepped into the world of acting.

Amrish Puri started his acting career in the 1960s from the world of theatre and also produced plays by Satyadev Dubey and Girish Karnad. He received the award in 1979 from the Academy of Music Drama for his outstanding performance on theatre, which was also the first major award of his acting career.

He stepped out of the 1971 film "Prem Pujari" in Bollywood. Puri took a while to set up Hindi cinema, though success continued to sway him, and Bollywood found a villain which it had never seen so far. In 1987, Shekhar Kapoor's role as Mogambo in Mr India left him all over. In the 1990s, he also gave his fans a new gift from his positive role in 'Dilwale Dulahniya Le Jayenge' and 'Virasat'.
