New Delhi: Bitcoin prices fell on Tuesday. Bitcoin, the world's largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, was trading 0.5 per cent lower at $61,443. Digital tokens have seen a 110 per cent increase so far this year. It had reached a record high of nearly $67,000 in October. The performance of the second cryptocurrency has shown mixed signals over the past 24 hours.

Ethereum is trading marginally stronger Ether blockchain-related and the world's second-largest cryptocurrency at $4,329.8. Cardano prices have seen a rise of more than one per cent. The cryptocurrency has reached $1.97. While dogecoin fell more than three per cent to $0.26. Other digital tokens such as XRP, Solana have also declined. While Stellar, Uniswap have made profits during the last 24 hours. Shiba Inu has been moving ahead with a record high over the past few seasons. It has jumped more than 2 per cent. While Polkadot has gained 14 per cent. According to Coindesk, it has reached $49.

Ether prices had risen sharply to record highs during the weekend. Ether Ethereum belongs to the network, the main blockchain used for thousands of decentralized applications. The system got a further boost after the successful upgrade last week. This will make it faster and more energy effective.
