Aggarwal said that the total balance of BSNL and MTNL is about 20 thousand crores. Banks have started putting pressure on vendors to pay for it. All these vendors are going to perform against it on 19 November. After this, if the arrears are not paid within 10 days, then vendors will be turned NCLT against BSNL and MTNL.

According to the notice sent to the employees, all permanent and regular employees of the company, who are 50 years of age or above on 31 January, are eligible to participate in the scheme. Earlier MTNL had said that out of the total 22 thousand employees of the company, about 15 thousand are considered eligible for this scheme.
