Ranchi: BJP Jharkhand president Deepak Prakash launched a scathing attack on the Hemant government over a function. In a scathing attack, he said Jharkhand is moving towards becoming the crime capital of India. There is a reign of terror here and criminal activities are increasing at a very fast pace due to which the common people are feeling insecure.

Deepak Prakash of the BJP was on a one-day personal visit to Steel City in Jamshedpur. They were discussing with the reporters here. Referring to the increasing number of criminal incidents in the state, he said that 3266 women have been raped and exploited in Jharkhand due to the last two years, which is a very serious figure.

He said that the law and order situation in Jharkhand is really frightening. The militancy has moved out of rural areas to Ranchi, the capital of the state. He said that one can gauge the law and order situation in the state from the fact that travelling from one district to another at night has become a threat to anyone's life. He continued his attack on the Jharkhand Government and cornered the Government on mineral smuggling. He said that mineral resources are being looted, causing a loss of revenue to the exchequer. Jharkhand was lagging behind in implementing the Centre's schemes be it the PM Gram Sadak Yojana, the PM Garib Kalyan Yojana or the Har Ghar Jal Yojana. The BJP respects all the languages spoken in the country while the state government has included Urdu in the regional language list for vote bank politics in all the cities of Jharkhand.
