The BJP put up a social media post featuring Rahul Gandhi, teasingly calling him a 'Fuse Tubelight'.

This poster revisits a moment from February 6, 2020, when Prime Minister Narendra Modi teased Rahul Gandhi as a 'tubelight' during a parliamentary session. Modi humorously remarked that despite speaking for 30-40 minutes, it took a while for the 'current' to reach, likening it to how some tubelights function.

In response, Rahul Gandhi sharply criticized the Prime Minister's behavior, highlighting that Modi lacks the comportment expected of a Prime Minister. He emphasized that a Prime Minister typically carries a certain stature and conduct, which, in his view, Modi lacks.

Moreover, amidst the ongoing exchanges, Rahul Gandhi previously labeled PM Modi as 'panauti' after India's World Cup final defeat, sparking a demand from BJP leaders for an apology. Subsequently, the Election Commission issued a show-cause notice to Rahul Gandhi, citing his remarks directed at Prime Minister Modi, instructing him to provide a response by Saturday.
