Bhopal: Amidst the violence on the one hand and the political upheaval on the other side, the opposition party in Madhya Pradesh is engaged in planning a two-pronged strategy through the Rajya Sabha elections. As the strength of the number of MLAs has confirmed a Rajya Sabha seat of BJP, the party has started working on many possibilities to grab another seat. There is also an option to play bets on former CM Uma Bharti. Electoral management of the party has been activated for this. The name of the candidate will be announced after Holi.

Discussion by veteran leaders: The same thing is also being noted that the veteran leaders of the organization discussed this issue on Sunday morning in the state BJP office in Bhopal. State BJP President VD Sharma, former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Leader of Opposition Gopal Bhargava and State Organization General Secretary Suhas Bhagat discussed preparations for the Agar and Jaura by-elections of the Assembly. For the Rajya Sabha ticket, the names of the incumbent party officials are also coming out along with the veteran leaders.

Factor not effective: If sources talk about the possible names of Ras, the emphasis is on factors like SC, ST and OBC. However, from these sections, the party has sent Union Ministers Thawarchand Gehlot, Satyanarayan Jatiya, Sampatiya Uike and Kailash Soni to the Upper House. The possibility of any external name coming from the Center is also not strong because former Minister MJ Akbar and Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan are already represented in Rajya Sabha from MP quota. The possibility of Uma has indicated to BJP high command fire brand leader and former CM of the state, Uma Bharti, to increase activeness in the state, so Uma's name is also in the news in political circles.
