Lucknow: Union Minister Amit Shah accused the opposition, especially the Congress, of avoiding the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Lord Ram Lalla in Ayodhya out of fear of losing their vote bank. Speaking at a public gathering in Kaushambi, Pratapgarh district, Shah stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, within five years, resolved the Ram Temple issue, performed the bhoomipujan, and attended the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Shri Ram Lalla.

He mentioned that an invitation was extended to leaders like Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi, Dimple Yadav, and Akhilesh Yadav for the Pran Pratishtha ceremony, but none of them attended, indicating their fear of losing their vote bank. Shah assured that the BJP is not afraid of anyone and has taken bold steps such as building the Kashi Vishwanath corridor and reviving the Somnath Temple. He also mocked the INDI alliance, questioning who would become Prime Minister if they were to win.

Referring to the recent statements by certain opposition leaders about reintroducing Article 370, Shah questioned the wisdom behind such claims and affirmed that the Modi-led government has successfully ended terrorism in Kashmir and made it an integral part of India. Shah also criticized the Congress leaders, particularly Priyanka Gandhi, for not visiting their respective constituencies after winning the elections. He questioned the utilization of MP's funds and accused the Congress of prioritizing their vote bank over the welfare of the people.

Meanwhile, addressing a public meeting in Raebareli, Shah questioned the Gandhi family's absence from the constituency after winning the elections and raised concerns about the utilization of MP's funds. He pointed out that while Sonia Gandhi has won from Raebareli, there has been minimal development in the constituency. Shah also questioned Rahul Gandhi's performance as an MP and highlighted the contrast between his promises and actions. In the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, Raebareli constituency will witness a contest between Rahul Gandhi and BJP leader Dinesh Pratap Singh.
