New Delhi: Questions have been raised on the state government over the role of rioters who came to light in the violence that broke out in Delhi's Jahangirpuri on the occasion of Hanuman Janmotsav. The BJP has alleged that these rioters have the patronage of the ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Delhi. Delhi BJP chief Adesh Gupta has said that the manner in which the apex court is lobbying for the rioters and the Jahangirpur area is being visited clearly shows that the 'secular gang' has come to work to save the rioters.

He tweeted and wrote, 'Brinda Karat's visit to Jahangirpuri, Kapil Sibal's appearance in court and Aam Aadmi Party leaders and workers joining the riots clearly show that so-called Secular Gang gathered today to protect the rioters. It is done.' In another tweet, Gupta wrote 'The rioters caught in the violence in Jahangirpuri have the protection of AAP. I had asked the corporation to take action on the illegal construction and encroachment of the rioters, I congratulate the corporation for taking quick action on this.'

The Delhi BJP chief further said that Mohammad Ansar is an AAP worker. He has links with the MLA of Jahangirpuri and the Aam Aadmi Party leaders there. He works as a mafia there. Whoever does illegal business will be exposed in the investigation. This is the subject of a police investigation. Expressing satisfaction over the action taken by Delhi police, state BJP president Gupta said that the situation inside Jahangirpuri is not good. The rioters took a peaceful journey and pelted stones at innocent people. In the midst of this stone pelting, the Delhi Police came and fired at them. The Delhi Police took very quick action against such rioters.
