Home Minister said on Khargone violence: 'So far 154 arrested, NSA on two..'

Khargone: Police have arrested 154 criminals in connection with the violence that broke out in Khargone in Madhya Pradesh following stone-pelting on a Ram Navami procession. Police have identified the miscreants on the basis of video footage. The police have also identified the person who opened fire on SP Siddharth Chaudhary. Home Minister Narottam Mishra said a person named Waseem had opened fire on the SP.
 
On Wednesday, Home Minister Narottam Mishra said that the miscreants are being identified from the video footage in the Khargone violence case. So far, 154 people have been arrested. NSA has been imposed on 2 persons Mohsin and Nawaz. Mohsin has 10 criminal cases against him and Nawaz with 8 criminal cases. The person who fired at Khargone SP has also been identified. His name is Waseem. He said the man who ran a paan shop has been arrested from Indore. He is seen pelting stones in the video. On the basis of that, the action was taken by identifying him. Violence broke out in Khargone after stone-pelting in a Ram Navami procession. Thereafter, there were also incidents of arson in different areas of the city. At the same time, the SP and several others were injured, including the death of one person in the violence.  

Narottam Mishra, on the question of bulldozing the illegal occupation of rioters in Delhi, said those who disturb peace in the society are the enemies of the society. Those people should not be linked to any caste. They should speak rioters. If you are encroachers, they are rioters, they should be treated the same way that is happening.
