New Delhi: While Prime Minister Narendra Modi took the oath of office and secrecy in a grand swearing-in ceremony at the Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi on Thursday evening, the website of Bharatiya Janata Party’s Delhi wing was hacked for a short time.

BJP's party got hacked and hackers changed the menu and pages of the website with recipes of beef dishes, with a message on the main page saying: Hacked by 'Shadow_V1P3R'. The homepage of the website was edited and the word BJP was replaced with the word BEEF. So, "About BJP" was changed to "About BEEF", "BJP History" has been changed "BEEF History".

the website read: We’ll be back soon! Sorry for the inconvenience but we’re performing some maintenance at the moment. “We’ll be back online shortly!”

Earlier on March 05, The official website of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was hacked on and the portal went into maintenance mode only to be back in April with a better design user interface. At that time , the message on the BJP website read: “We'll be back soon! Sorry for the inconvenience but we're performing some maintenance at the moment. We will be back online shortly!”
