New Delhi: Former BJP MLA Manoj Shokeen in Delhi has been accused of raping his daughter-in-law. Manoj Shokeen, a two-time MLA from the BJP, has been lodged by his daughter-in-law at the West Vihar police station. It is alleged that the former MLA raped his daughter-in-law at gunpoint on the night of December 31, 2018, and January 1, 2019.
Former MLA Manoj Shokeen has been MLA from Mundka and Nangloi Jat seat. In her complaint, the victim said that her family had a party in a hotel on December 31, 2018. After the party, she went to her husband's house and at midnight her father-in-law raped her at the tip of the shotgun. The victim has sought justice from the Delhi Police in her complaint. The FIR was lodged by the Delhi Police on August 8, 2019, on the complaint of the victim.
The victim said that she had already registered a domestic violence case against her in-laws before the incident. The victim said that during the hearing of the domestic violence case, the Protection Officer asked her to explain what had happened to you. The victim said that only after that she had been able to tell her about the incident before the police. The victim says her father-in-law threatened her that she was a big leader and had links with several MPs and would not be able to do anything wrong.
