BJP Foundation Day: PM Modi to address party workers today

NEW DELHI: On Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address BJP members as the party celebrates 43 years in existence. Around 10 am, he's scheduled to deliver the speech.

The Bharatiya Janata Party will commemorate its 43rd founding day on this day, starting with a speech by Prime Minister Modi at 10.30 am. The party has also scheduled a number of social harmony events for the week of April 6–14, which coincides with Baba Saheb Ambedkar's birthday.

On the occasion of the BJP's Sthapna Diwas, BJP National President Shri JP Nadda raised the BJP flag on Thursday morning at the BJP Central Office (Ext.) in New Delhi. Nadda added that the efforts of thousands of BJP members will be repaid in 2024.

JP Nadda, the national president of the BJP, has also penned a letter urging all party officials and state presidents to actively take part in the "Social Harmony" week. Along with sending the letter, Nadda earlier held video conferences with all of the state presidents to go through the general outline of the initiatives that will run during this time.
The finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman is also expected to hold a press conference.

JP Nadda, the president of the BJP, and Union Ministers Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, Nitin Gadkari, and Piyush Goyal tweeted good wishes on the party's founding day.

Party president JP Nadda tweeted a video showing the BJP's growth and stated that the party is committed to constructing a better India under the leadership of PM Modi with the tenacity of "Antyodaya" and service.

Amit Shah, the minister of the interior, praised the party members for devoting their entire life to the BJP's philosophy.

Gujarat is  also all set to mark BJP's 43rd foundation day today April 6. As part of BJP's 43rd foundation day, Week-long celebrations, including cleanliness and plantation drives, bike rallies, group meals, medical camps, have been organised in  Gujarat  Amit Shah, the union minister for housing and cooperation, is visiting the state today to take part in a number of events in Salangpur, Ahmedabad, and Gandhinagar.

The Union Minsiter  will meet with BJP members in Ahmedabad city, Ahmedabad district, and Gandhinagar district and city in addition to visiting the Salangpur Hanuman Temple. Also, he will evaluate the many construction projects in Gandhinagar, his Lok Sabha district
