Patna: CM of Bihar and prominent leader of Janata Dal United (JDU) Nitish Kumar is currently eyeing the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. This is the reason, he has met leaders of several opposition parties in the last one month. He is trying to create a non-BJP front as part of his strategy. In which his Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav is also included.

Under this strategy, CM Nitish Kumar and Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav will meet Congress supremo Mallikarjun Kharge and former Congress President Rahul Gandhi today i.e. on Monday. Along with this, he will also share the information of the talks held with many opposition leaders. There is also a possibility that the date of a major opposition conference in Patna may also be fixed during these talks. Nitish Kumar and Tejashwi last met on April 12 along with Kharge and Rahul. During that time it was decided that Nitish Kumar would approach leaders of 6 parties, most of whom do not share good equations with the Grand Old Party and at least 2 who are not in the opposition fold.

Let us tell you that, last month, Nitish Kumar had Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo and West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav, Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik and Delhi CM and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Had met with National President Arvind Kejriwal and discussed forming a front against the BJP. Along with this, he also held discussions with Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Uddhav Thackeray, NCP chief Sharad Pawar, Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren and Left leaders Sitaram Yechury and D Raja.
