Mumbai: NCP chief Sharad Pawar on Thursday attacked the BJP fiercely. He said that BJP is using money, power and other means to topple the governments in the country. He said that this has never happened before in the politics of the country. The NCP chief said that a new word 'Khokha' (crore) in politics is in the news. It is being used to buy representatives elected by the public. Let us tell you that after the fall of the Maha Vikas Aghadi government in Maharashtra, Shiv Sena and BJP have been attacking each other. Since then, this word in politics is being used by the opposition to target the BJP.
In response to the question of 8 Congress MLAs joining the BJP in Goa and AAP accusing the BJP of horse-trading attempts in Punjab, Pawar said that it is because of such activities that the government in Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh has changed. On the change of power in Maharashtra, Pawar said that 40 to 50 MLAs revolted. Thereafter, the government changed. Kamal Nath government fell in Madhya Pradesh. All this was done using money.
While targeting the BJP on this issue, he said that money, power and other means are being used to destabilize stable governments and run them on their own terms. This new tactic has been adopted by the ruling party at the centre to rule. Not only this, central investigative agencies are being misused to target opposition parties and their leaders. Pawar said that the BJP should not forget that the situation is never the same. It won't last very long. If not today, tomorrow there will be a change.
