Kolkata: Abhinandan rally will be held under the leadership of BJP working president JP Nadda in support of the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). A large number of people will participate in it. However, the police have not given permission for this rally. The BJP leadership says whether the police give permission or not, but the rally will be held. In protest against CAA and NRC, the Trinamool Congress under the leadership of Mamata Banerjee has been performing fiercely for the last several days.

When the CAA passes, the BJP's central leadership has planned to take out this rally to express gratitude and greet it. The party's working president JP Nadda will take part in it and will also address the public meeting. State BJP general secretary Raju Banerjee has said that BJP is only organizing Abhinandan rally, but this rally is for the people of Bengal and Bangladeshi refugees living in the state. Awam will decide about the rally.

According to sources, this rally will start at 12 noon from Subodh Mallik Square which will go to Shyambazar via Hind Cinema and Central Avenue. The second line will include all MPs and MLAs, the third line will include people from the celebrity world, followed by the members of Matua Samaj, Jains, Parsis, minorities, the state BJP says that this rally is not the BJP but the Awam rally.
