Bangalore: Ahead of the upcoming assembly elections in Karnataka, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has put an end to all speculations of changing the CM's face for the time being. BJP's Karnataka in-charge Arun Singh has clearly said on Saturday (August 13) that the party is going to fight the assembly elections in the state under the leadership of Basavaraj Bommai and he will be the CM face of the party.

BJP's Karnataka in-charge Arun Singh has said that the party will contest the next assembly elections under the leadership of CM Bommai. He said there was no change in the organisation's decision. Arun Singh further said that the BJP is going to form the government in the state once again. We have set a target of winning 150 seats. Congress has no issues. That is why it is spreading rumours of the chief minister being changed. However, there is no reality to this. Congress leaders DK Shivakumar and Siddaramaiah are spreading rumours. That doesn't need to be taken care of.

Let me tell you that Suresh Gowda, former BJP MLA from Tumakuru, had said a few days ago that CM Basavaraj Bommai's chair would go. He had made this claim during a press conference and said that the party's high command was considering removing Bommai from the post of Chief Minister. It is possible that before August 15, Bommai may be replaced by another. But now the BJP's Karnataka in charge has put an end to all speculations.
