Mumbai: Bihar and Maharashtra government have come face to face in the Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput suicide case. Now the Maharashtra BJP has also opened a front against the Thackeray government. Former Maharashtra CM and BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis tweeted that the public wants CBI to investigate Sushant's death, but the Maharashtra government is denying it.

Former CM Devendra Fadnavis said that at least the Enforcement Directorate (ED) can investigate the matter from the money laundering angle. A minister of Bihar government has also said about the CBI investigation. Minister Jai Kumar Singh said that Nitish government can also demand PM Modi for a CBI investigation in the case. Minister in Bihar government Jai Kumar Singh said that "The case should be investigated by the CBI. I am sure that CM Nitish Kumar will take steps for the CBI investigation in the case."

Minister Jai Kumar Singh said that" CM Nitish Kumar will hold talks with CM Uddhav Thackeray of Maharashtra for CBI investigation. If we feel that Uddhav Thackeray is not ready for a CBI inquiry, then Nitish Kumar can demand PM Modi for a CBI inquiry. It is not that if the Government of Maharashtra does not want, then there will be no CBI inquiry."
