MUMBAI: After the devastation caused by the cyclonic storm in Maharashtra, the government relief has been declared inadequate by former CM of the state and veteran leader of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He said that at least 75 percent compensation should be provided to the farmers who have suffered due to cyclonic storms.

Bharatiya Janata Party leader Fadnavis said that Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray has announced a relief package of Rs 100 crore after the devastation caused by the cyclonic storm, which is very low. He said that, 'When there was a flood in many parts of Maharashtra last year, my government gave Rs 4 thousand 708 crore to Satara, Sangli and Kolhapur, while Rs 2 thousand 108 crore was allocated for Nashik and Konkan.'

Regarding the crisis of coronavirus, Fadnavis said that the coronavirus has the most havoc in Maharashtra. The coronavirus has a capacity of 35 thousand probes in the state, while only 10,000 investigations are being done.
