Negotiations between the top military commander level of India and China to resolve the deadlock between the lockdown and the Corona transition in Ladakh over the Line of Actual Control (LAC) encroachment are seen as positive towards reducing tension. Sources reveal that in this meeting held on Saturday, India has told China that it is necessary to restore the pre-April position on LAC to reduce tension.

India has made it clear to China that the Indian Army will stand firmly until the Chinese soldiers return respecting LAC. India has also termed China's objections to the construction being done in its area as unfair. It is known that the top two commander-level military talks were held on Saturday as part of the declaration of the two countries to resolve China's most serious encroachment on LAC in Ladakh.

India was led by Lieutenant General Harinder Singh, the commander of the 14th Corps of the Leh Army and he was accompanied by two Brigadier level officers in this meeting held at the Moldo military base of China in front of Chushul sector. The Chinese delegation was led by Major General Leo Lin of the South Xinjiang Military Command of the People's Liberation Army. However, no official statement has been released about the conversation. A military spokesman only said that a round of negotiations would continue to resolve the deadlock between India and China at the military and diplomatic level. It is believed that in this meeting which lasted more than three hours, India expressed its serious objection to the Chinese encroachment on the LAC and said that the restoration of the earlier situation was inevitable to end the tension.
