Rajasthan: Leader of Opposition Gulab Chand Kataria threatens to resign amid conflict

Jaipur: In Rajasthan, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) seems to be divided into two factions. The quarrel between the former CM and BJP leader Vasundhara Raje and other party leaders is not stopping. Meanwhile, Leader of Opposition Gulab Chand Kataria has even said to resign. Arun Singh, the state in-charge of BJP, had left for Delhi after explaining the MLAs of Vasundhara faction.

After which it was felt that the matter has been resolved, but once again there was a dispute. Kailash Meghwal, who is considered a staunch supporter of Vasundhara Raje in the legislative party meeting in the assembly, accused the leader of opposition Gulabchand Kataria of favoritism. He said that the Leader of Opposition arbitrarily gives people a chance to speak in the Assembly. MLA Meghwal further said that Gulabchand Kataria is holding two posts. After all, why is the BJP not making its whip in the assembly. Gulab should leave one post. During this, former CM Vasundhara Raje was also present, but she did not say anything.

Angry with Meghwal's allegations, Gulabchand Kataria said, "I have no attachment to the post. Ask the one who has given this responsibility. I will resign in two minutes. But as long as I have the responsibility, I will play with loyalty."
