Kolkata: Security of Kailash Vijayvargiya, national general secretary of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has been increased. This has been done after the stone pelting on the convoy of BJP President Jagat Prakash Nadda in West Bengal. In this attack, Vijayvargiya's car was hit with stones, which hurt his hand. When Vijayvargiya underwent his medical treatment after the attack, it was found that he had a ligament fracture in his hand.

After this attack, the security of BJP leader Kailash Vijayvargiya has been increased to Z Plus. Now they will also be given a bulletproof vehicle. Please tell that JP Nadda went on a Bengal tour in the past. His convoy in South 24 Parganas was allegedly attacked by Trinamool Congress (TMC) -led people. Nadda survived the attack due to being a bulletproof vehicle.

Let me tell you that next year assembly elections are proposed in Bagal. At the same time, as the BJP in-charge of Bengal, Vijayvargiya is constantly holding the front and is busy strengthening the party's position in the state. Mamta's government was criticized by several big ministers including Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, for the attack on Nadda's convoy. Governor Jagdeep Dhankar also sent a report to the Ministry of Home Affairs after the incident.
