Mumbai: Vikas Khanchandani, the CEO of Republic TV, has been ordered by the Mumbai Fort Court to send him to police custody till December 15. Now according to the information received recently, Republic TV Group is going to go to Bombay High Court today against this decision of the court. Apart from this, a bail petition for development is also to be filed today. Let us also tell you that Vikas has been arrested in the fake TRP case. Vikas Khanchandani is the 13th person to be arrested in this case.

At the same time, Ghanshyam Singh, Assistant Vice President and Distribution Head of Republic Media Network has also been arrested in this case. Confirming the recent arrest, a senior police officer said that Vikas Khanchandani's statement was filed twice and his role was revealed during the questioning of Republic TV's distribution head Ghanshyam Singh. We have direct evidence against Khanchandani and have also obtained his link with the already arrested accused Ghanshyam Singh. Investigators say that Vikas Khanchandani was part of an internal WhatsApp group in which LCN (logical channel number) was discussed.

Apart from this, the Crime Branch had also mentioned in the charge sheet presented in the court that the channel officials along with the cable operators and multi-system operators (multi-system operators) had to send Republic TV on dual logical channel numbers (LCNs) or two frequencies. Chala, which is a violation of the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) guidelines.
