Kolkata: The election of West Bengal is important in many ways this time and that is why everyone's eyes are on the election of this state. BJP state president Dilip Ghosh gave an objectionable statement on the violence in Sitalkuchi, Cooch Behar during the fourth phase of state voting. Just after this, another party leader has given a disputed statement on the issue.

Regarding the Cooch Behar violence, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Rahul Sinha reportedly said that not four but eight people should have been shot here. BJP candidate Rahul Sinha was addressing a public meeting in his constituency on Monday in Habra constituency. Addressing the public at the rally, he said that eight but not four people should have been shot in Sitalakuchi. He further said that the reason behind why the central security forces shot four people is that an 18-year-old youth was supporting the BJP at a polling booth, which was shot to death and their leader is Mamta Banerjee.

Not only this, Rahul Sinha further said in the rally that the central forces took the right action in Cooch Behar. He further said that if this happens again, the central forces will give the same answer again. He further said that Mamata Banerjee is the leader of those people who do the wrong thing to stop voting. Mamta's days are over now. His goons are misusing their power.
