New Delhi: Symptom of coronavirus has been found in Sambit Patra, national spokesperson of Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP). After this, he was admitted to the hospital. Currently, Sambit Patra has been admitted to Medanta Hospital in Gurgaon. At present, no information has been given by Sambit. However, Jyotiraditya Scindia, who came from Congress to BJP, has tweeted for Sambit Patra. He wished Patra to recover soon.

Sambit Patra himself is a doctor by profession. He has been a Medical Officer at Hindu Rao Hospital. When it comes to politics, Sambit Patra contested from the Puri seat of Odisha in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. He was defeated by Pinaki Mishra of Biju Janata Dal (BJD). In 2012, Sambit had also contested the election of corporator from BJP. He was then nominated from the Kashmiri Gate, but was defeated. In the recent days, related TV debates are dominating.
