New Delhi: Petrol and diesel prices have again skyrocketed in the country. Petrol is being sold at Rs 90 per litre in many cities. In this case, people are having problems. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is now facing opposition from its own leaders. Meanwhile, BJP leader Subramanian Swamy has also attacked the government over the rising price of petrol.

Subramanian Swamy made a tweet attacking the government over petrol prices. In this, he wrote, 'Petrol price at Rs. 90 per litre is a monumental exploitation by GoI of the people of India. The price ex-refinery of petrol is Rs. 30/litre. All kinds of taxes and Petrol pump commission add up the remainder Rs.60. In my view, petrol must sell at max. Rs. 40 per litre.'.
