Bhopal: Bharat Bandh has been called by farmers today to protest against agricultural laws. Its impact is being seen across the country. On this issue, Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan has said that the doors of dialogue are open and the government is ready to address every doubt, so there is no meaning of Bharat Bandh. He said that under this guise, political parties are cooking their loaves.

Regarding Madhya Pradesh, CM Shivraj said that the farmers here are in favour of all the three laws because they know that this reform is beneficial. CM Shivraj said that these are the same reforms which were practised in Manmohan Singh's government. He also mentioned the letter of Sharad Pawar, who was the Minister of Agriculture in the UPA government, which was written to the Madhya Pradesh government on his behalf.

CM Shivraj Singh said that Sonia Gandhi used to advocate agricultural reforms in her government. The old government used to advocate that farmers should not be tied to the market. There was also a provision to go into contract farming. It was also said that the stock limit is not fixed. Shivraj Singh said that all these things which were said in the UPA government, have been done now. Making this claim, Shivraj Singh alleged that Congress is provoking farmers.
