Lucknow: Bharatiya Janata Party MLA Alka Rai from Ghazipur in Uttar Pradesh has written a letter to the National General Secretary of Congress Party, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, to save Bahubali Mukhtar Ansari. Alka Rai is the wife of former MLA Krishnanand Rai, whose murder was blamed on Mukhtar Ansari. BJP MLA Alka Rai said in his letter that you (Priyanka Gandhi Vadra) and your (Punjab) government have sheltered my husband's murderer Mukhtar and his award-winning son as state guests. Along with this, Alka Rai has expressed grief over the grand wedding of Mukhtar Ansari's son in Rajasthan.

BJP MLA Alka asked Priyanka Vadra an emotional question that why are the slaves being saved by your government? Alka has requested Priyanka to take action and understand her suffering as a woman. BJP MLA has written a letter to Priyanka Gandhi Vadra several times. Earlier, Alka wrote in the letter, ''I am a widow and I have been my husband and popular MLA for the last 14 years. I am fighting for justice against the brutal killing of Shri Krishnanand Rai Ji. Against the oppression that your party and your government in the state of Punjab are giving open protection against today.''

Alka Rai wrote that 'Mukhtar Ansari is being summoned from all the courts of Uttar Pradesh, but the Punjab government is not ready to send him to Uttar Pradesh. Every time hundreds of people like me and I are being denied justice by making some excuse.'
